Who are you, and what do you love to do?

My name is Sol Sparks and I have a passion for the creative, creating something with an appealing and clean aesthetic is one of the most satisfying things for me to do.

 

How did you get here? What experiences have led you to this point in your life?

After finishing my university course I was itching to get out into the world and experience a proper work environment. Luckily, I found BoothBook and they took me in and provided me with the best first jobs I could have asked for.

 

When did you start working with BoothBook, and what do you do to help push the business forward?

Since May 2021, my main goal whilst working at BoothBook is to help them wherever I can to make their branding and imagery look as clean, professional and appealing as possible, accurately reflecting their amazing company.

 

When was the first time you used a photobooth? Why did you use it? Who were you with? What was the experience like?

My first experience with a photobooth was at an event at the Exeter Phoenix. It was a very basic set up with a white sheet background and some props, however it had on the spot printing and keychains, which allowed me to have mementos of my friends at the time. Capturing a glimpse of my youth so I won’t ever forget it.

 

What is the coolest / most fun / most amazing photobooth experience you have seen? Why did you like it so much?

At my second Summer Ball for secondary school. They had converted an old London taxi into an old 20’s style photobooth. Definitely made the night something to remember.

 

What is a particular skill that you have that you think would help small business owners improve their lives?

I am very good at troubleshooting and working with people to find a solution to whatever problem they might have, helping people is one of my favourite things to do if I can.

 

Which BoothBook feature do you think is most likely to dramatically improve someone’s business?

Automated booking definitely allows for anyone running a small business by themselves or with a small team to save as much time as possible. This allows them to not only have spare time to themselves but also put more time into making the business itself the best it possibly can be.

 

Which BoothBook feature do you think is the coolest / most fun / most impressive?

Being able to assign your staff but also have them put down their availability saves so much time when it comes to organising events. Being able to look and see at the click of a button which employees are available allows you to organise events easily and save time.
